2013 Honda Odyssey MAF sensor: is it fitted, and what to know

There are a few practical reasons Honda chose MAP over MAF here:

What owners should service instead: If the van shows “MAF-like” symptoms—rough idle, poor fuel use, hesitations—on this model it’s usually one of these: a tired or contaminated MAP sensor, vacuum leaks, a dirty throttle body, or a skewed IAT sensor. Check for OBD2 codes P0106/P0107/P0108 (MAP range/performance, low, or high). Inspect the air filter, look for split hoses, and clean the throttle body. The MAP sensor can be gently cleaned with electronics-safe cleaner if contaminated, but avoid soaking or using harsh solvents. If readings remain off-spec per the service manual, replacement is inexpensive and quick under the bonnet on the intake manifold.
