Underbody Protection

Underbody armour is designed for the serious off roader who prefers to drive down a fire trail rather than a bitumen road. These things are designed to protect vital components underneath the car from hitting solid objects like rocks or gravel. They provide a screen to take the hit and let you keep driving.

There is a weight penalty for using them, but it is better than fixing an oil or fuel leak in the middle of nowhere. Some of them are alloy which makes them strong and light which helps. Most of them are vehicle specific so they are easy to bolt in and need minimal modification work to install them.
