TruStop Adaptive brake pads are boxed as a set of four, exactly what you need for a complete axle job and are suitable for use with most MK3-6 Trojan trailer hydraulic calipers equivelent to TPT10202 including replacement for the older flat bottom pad (Flat base caliper).
Manufactured with an industry tested Semi Metallic compound that resists fade in heavily loaded uses and provides excellent wear resistance, meaning longer life.
Suitable for your boat or caravan right down to small weekend warrior box trailers you can be assured of towing with confidence in hilly regions & that steep driveway or boat ramp.
Regular inspection and periodic maintenance of trailer parts and components is vital to safe towing and with a lot of this able to be completed by any competent handy person you can feel confident on the road knowing your trailer and the loads you tow are secure and safe at speed.
Need to rebuild your caliper? We also keep caliper seal repair kits to suit common Trojan Al-Ko Mk3-6 calipers use Part No. 254034, and replacement Phenolic pistons use Part No. PT1125.
TruStop Adaptive brake pads are designed to give you low noise, low dust for cleaner wheels, smoother stopping and peace of mind at a better price. After all, your brakes are a safety system you want to perform when you need it most - keeping you and your family safe.
When heavily loaded or towing we also recommend upgarding your vehicles pads with Repco RCT Extreme brake pads - designed specifically for improved friction stability, fade resistance and life in utes, vans, 4x4s and vehicles that tow regularly.
Signs that your car or trailer are in need of a brake pad replacement:
- Squealing or screeching noises
- Metallic grinding and growling noises
- Friction material is worn near or below the wear indicators
- Dashboard lights indicating replacement
- Large wear lip on brake rotor
When replacing brake pads you should also consider checking your brake rotors to ensure optimal braking performance and efficiency. A wear lip on the edge of the rotor greater than 1mm might mean they are below minimum thickness and need replacement. Alternatvely, grooves in the surface or discolouration might prevent the new pad from bedding in correctly leading to noise or shudder.
