The 2022 Honda CR‑V sold in Australia and New Zealand doesn’t use a traditional clutch kit. According to Honda’s published specifications for the 2022 model year and the owner’s manual for local variants, every petrol model is equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and hybrid grades use an e‑CVT system. There’s no manual transmission option in these markets, so there’s no clutch pedal, no friction clutch disc, and no pressure plate assembly to service or replace.
Technically, a clutch kit is a wear-and-tear set used with a manual gearbox, typically including the clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing. The CR‑V’s CVT design replaces that whole setup.
