For Australian and New Zealand–delivered 2018 Subaru XV models, a traditional clutch kit is not used or required. This XV generation (GT series) was sold locally exclusively with Subaru’s Lineartronic CVT automatic, which uses a torque converter and internal multi-plate clutch packs within the transmission—not a manual clutch disc and pressure plate assembly.
