2016 Ford Kuga power-steering-pump: is it fitted and does it need servicing?

- Software and fault scans: If steering feel changes, the wheel cocks off-centre, or a steering warning appears, a diagnostic scan of the EPAS module is the right first step.
If someone mentions a “power-steering leak” on a 2016 Kuga, it’s usually a mix-up with another fluid (e.g., engine oil, coolant or A/C condensate). There’s no power-steering reservoir on this model, so any shop recommending a fluid flush for the steering is barking up the wrong tree.
