When replacing, choose OE-spec parts from reputable suppliers, the wrong calibration can throw fuelling out, and on turbo models it can upset boost control. If drivability issues persist after addressing the MAP sensor, check for intake leaks, dirty throttle bodies, or MAF issues, as the Impreza’s ECU cross-checks multiple sensors to keep things tidy.
