For the 2010 Toyota bB (QNC20/QNC21/QNC25 series) running the 1.3 K3-VE or 1.5 3SZ-VE engines, a factory knock sensor isn’t fitted. This isn’t just hearsay — the Toyota bB QNC2# repair manual wiring diagrams don’t show a knock-sensor circuit, the Toyota Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) for these chassis/engines doesn’t list a knock sensor or a harness branch for one, and the Daihatsu/Toyota engine service manuals for the K3-VE and 3SZ-VE describe ignition control without a knock feedback sensor. Why leave it out?
