The purpose of these oil seals is simple but critical. They keep pressurised oil inside the engine and gearbox while allowing rotating shafts to spin freely. A good seal maintains oil pressure, prevents drips on your driveway, and protects belts, clutches, and rubber bushes from oil contamination.
