1997 Daihatsu Gran Move and the MAF sensor: what’s actually fitted

On most 1997 vehicles, the MAP sensor is mounted on the firewall or inner guard with a short vacuum line to the intake manifold. Keeping that hose sound and the electrical connectors clean will prevent a lot of grief. If fault codes are stored, they’ll typically point to MAP, IAT or mixture adaptation rather than any MAF-related issue—because there isn’t one.
