1986 Suzuki Jimny MAP sensor — is it actually a thing?
Short answer: a MAP sensor isn’t used on a 1986 Suzuki Jimny (also sold locally as the Sierra/Samurai). Factory documentation for the SJ413 era shows a carburetted engine with no engine control unit, which means there’s no need for a manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
