How To Apply Rain X
Repco | 8th May 2024 | 2 minutes to read
While rain on your windscreen is often easy to remove by flicking the wipers on, there are times when the rain smears and leaves behind water marks that are difficult to remove. This can lower visibility and be dangerous for driving, especially if dirt and muck cover a rear window on a vehicle with no rear wiper.
Rain X uses water beading technology that stops water from sticking to your windscreen, preventing dirt buildup, reducing wear and tear on your wiper blades, and improving visibility while driving.
It’s quick and easy to apply and it can last up to 3 months depending on weather and environmental conditions.
Step By Step for Using Rain X
Clean your windscreen thoroughly before you apply the Rain X, so that it can be as effective as possible. Use isopropyl alcohol and a microfibre towel to remove any contaminants.
Apply the Rain X using a clean microfibre towel. Simply squirt the recommended amount onto the towel and apply to the windscreen using overlapping circular motions. Do half the windscreen at a time to ensure you clean thoroughly.

Let it dry and buff off any residue with a dry cloth.
