Developed in the late 1950's, early 1960's Plasti Dip provides a protective synthetic rubber coating to a wide variety of surfaces. Initially it was designed to coat the handles of tools to make them more comfortable and provide better grip as well as to protect them from corrosion. It then expanded into an insulating material for electrical wires and connectors.
Since its early beginnings Plasti Dip has proven itself to be a versatile product that can be used across a range of industries. Easy to apply, it can be sprayed on, brushed on or dip the product in a tin of Plasti Dip. It is also simple to remove by just peeling it off. It does not damage the surface of the product underneath the Plasti Dip coating.
Plasti Dip remains flexible and will not crack or become brittle. It can also take temperature extremes and can be used on a lot of different surfaces including metal, wood, glass, plastic, rubber, fibreglass and concrete. It seals the surface against the elements, stopping corrosion and reducing wear and tear.
