Yakima LongArm Truck Bed Extender
The Yakima LongArm provides an additional 122 cm of truck bed length and features a 152 cm wide crossbar, making it suitable for transporting long loads such as fishing kayaks, canoes, ladders, lumber, and more.
The LongArm adjusts to three load-carrying positions. At bed height, it can be used with your truck tailgate open and has a 136 kg carrying capacity. At bed rail height, it can be used with the BedRock rack system and also has a 136 kg capacity. For truck cab-height carrying, combine the LongArm Extension with a roof rack system for a 75 kg carrying capacity. The LongArm Extension and roof rack system are sold separately.
Installation is quick and secure on any 5 cm (2") hitch receiver using the included 5/8" threaded hitch bolt. Its aluminium construction is engineered for strength while weighing only 5 kg, and the durable black powder-coat finish helps protect it during use.
Integrated tie-down points help keep your load secure during transport. Any Yakima boat mount can also be added to the crossbar for added boat protection. A Yakima signature bottle opener is built in for enjoying a post-paddle cold drink.
For additional load protection, add the LongArm Pad, sold separately. The LongArm Height Extension, also sold separately, can be used to raise the system up to cab height.
Crossbar Height Measurements
The following heights are measured from the top of the tongue to the top of the crossbar at four angle positions, from vertical to horizontal. Low bar heights are 101 cm, 94 cm, 70 cm, and 37 cm. Mid bar heights are 105 cm, 97 cm, 71 cm, and 38 cm. High bar heights are 107 cm, 100 cm, 73 cm, and 39 cm.
