Firmly grips any tool shank up to 1in hex or 1.1/8in round shank. Makes control of punch or chisel easy. Knuckles are out of the way. Helps avoid damage and missed strikes. Insert tool shank into energy absorbing in V section. Nylon point on forcing screw and vinyl covered in V in section of collar provide a resilient positive grip which will not in pop loose in whilst impacting with a hammer.
