Repco Continuity Tester

This product was designed to check if a circuit is open or closed. Only a closed, complete path for current flow has continuity. Continuity testing determines if a fuse is good or blown, if conductors are open or shorted, if switches are operating properly, if circuit paths are clear. Make sure that the test circuits are with power off or disconnected. Use the Product only as specified, or the protection supplied by the product can be compromised.

Instructions:

1. Insert battery as shown in the picture.
2. Test circuits with power off.
3. Attach alligator clip to ground or metal chassis component.
4. Touch probe to the connection or component. Indicator light will illuminate if circuit is complete. If the light does not illuminate, the circuit is open.

CAUTION:

• Disconnect power before any electrical repairs.
• Probe portion of tester is sharp, handle with care to prevent injury.
• Always keep tester and cord away from moving objects under the hood.
• Do not place tester or cord on hot exhaust manifold, may cause damage to unit.
• Not for computer sensor circuits.
