TruStop Adaptive Brake Pads are specifically formulated for your vehicle
TruStop Adaptive brake pads have been engineered for your vehicle, with either an advanced Ceramic or Semi Metallic formulation specifically selected to meet the requirements of each application, giving you the advantage of knowing that every TruStop pad is right for the job.
New Zealand's carparc is diverse and so are our roads, so a quality brake pad range needs to be able to meet the requirements for every vehicle from a small city car to large 4WD's across a wide variety of driving types.
This means every part number in the TruStop Adaptive range has been reviewed by our braking experts who have selected the best formulation in the box to meet the requirements including city driving, highway driving and towing.
In addition to the specifically selected formulation, all TruStop Adaptive pads come standard with our advanced 4-layer shim.
TruStop Adaptive brake pads are designed to give you low noise, low dust for cleaner wheels, smoother stopping and peace of mind at a better price. After all, your vehicles brakes are a safety system you want to perform when you need it most, keeping you and your family safe.
Signs that your car is in need of a brake pad replacement:
- Squealing or screeching noises
- Metallic grinding and growling noises
- Friction material is worn near or below the wear indicators
- Dashboard lights indicating replacement
- Large wear lip on brake rotor
When replacing brake pads you should also consider replacing your vehicles brake rotors to ensure optimal braking performance and efficiency. A wear lip on the edge of the rotor greater than 1mm might mean they are below minimum thickness and need replacement. Alternatvely, grooves in the surface or discolouration might prevent the new pad from bedding in correctly leading to noise or shudder.
