Remsa Brake Pads are your safe stopping solution

Over 45 years of experience, Remsa is today a worldwide manufacturer in brake parts for the automotive Industry. With a production of more than 30 million sets per year, Remsa brake pads have been built to the same characteristics and hold the same level integrity to the OE equivalent, giving peace of mind that they're the right ¿t for the job.

HPT (High pressure treatment)

HPT Involves extreme heat and pressure to scorch the pad surface 1 to 2 mm deep, which increases bedding-ability.

All Remsa pads are scorched at 650°C while applying 10.000 N press force per brake pad ensuring that the complete surface of the pad is evenly cured. This process provides a shorter bedding-in period and an efficient brake operation from first use as per typical O.E.M.

HPT is also healthy for the environment. During the scorching process, gases emitted are treated and rendered harmless, preventing the gasses entering the atmosphere.

As an added bonus, REMSA brake pads are unique from an environmental standpoint as they are free of heavy metals such as, among others, lead, copper and antimony. It is well known that these metals have devastating effects not only on the environment but also on the health of people.

ADT (Alpine descent test)

Alpine descent tests are fundamental in the development and research process of new Remsa friction material. These tests are usually performed by Remsa technical drivers in the Austrian Alpine Mountain called Grossglockner (Edelweisspitze 2571 m.) with a 12% average slope and 18% at the maximum fall. During this test with an average speed of 60km/h and reaching top speeds of more than 120 km/h over 16km pads reach up to 800°C ensuing complete confidence and safety for every set fitted in vehicles on the road worldwide.
