Parts for your 2015 Subaru Legacy-Clutch kit
Does a 2015 Subaru Legacy use a clutch kit?
Short answer: a clutch kit isn’t relevant to the 2015 Subaru Legacy. That model year was sold with Subaru’s Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) rather than a manual gearbox, so there’s no traditional friction clutch, pressure plate, and release bearing to replace as a “clutch kit”.
Why that matters: a clutch kit is a service item for manual transmissions, where a single friction clutch engages and disengages the engine from the gearbox. The 2015 Legacy (including Liberty in Australia/NZ) runs a CVT with a torque converter and internal multi-plate clutch packs. Those internal clutches aren’t a bolt-in, serviceable “kit”, and the system doesn’t use a conventional manual clutch pedal or release mechanism.
