2014 Honda Stream clutch-kit — is it used?

Based on Honda technical references for the RN6–RN9 Stream series near the end of production, a 2014 Honda Stream was supplied with either a 5‑speed automatic (AT) or a Honda CVT, depending on trim and market. Factory brochures/spec sheets from Honda Japan (2012–2014), the Honda service manual, and Honda’s electronic parts catalogue (EPC) list no manual transmission option for 2014 and do not show a clutch disc, pressure plate, or release bearing for RN6–RN9 VIN ranges. That means a conventional clutch-kit isn’t relevant to most 2014 Honda Streams.

Why no clutch-kit? A manual gearbox uses a friction disc, pressure plate and release bearing — the typical “clutch kit”. The 2014 Stream’s drivetrains use either a torque converter automatic (with internal clutch packs) or a CVT with a start clutch and belt/pulley system. Those components are internal to the transmission and aren’t serviced as an external clutch-kit.

What owners should service instead: keep on top of the correct transmission fluid and intervals for the specific unit fitted. For 5‑speed autos, Honda ATF‑DW1 is specified
