If output has gone pink/blue or seems dim after a few years, that’s typical HID ageing, plan a fresh pair of quality D4S capsules. Halogen owners may see dimming or a yellowed beam after a couple of years or many kilometres—new H11/HB3 bulbs will perk things up.
