2010 Daihatsu Bego headlight-bulbs

Based on the Daihatsu J200-series Terios/Bego Owner’s Manual (lighting section), the Toyota Rush/F700–F800 Repair Manual (shared platform), and Daihatsu Electronic Parts Catalogue entries for the J200 series, the 2010 Daihatsu Bego uses replaceable halogen headlight bulbs of type H4 (12V 60/55W). So headlight-bulbs are absolutely relevant to this model.

On the 2010 Daihatsu Bego, the headlight bulbs do the heavy lifting for safe night and low-visibility driving. The H4 halogen bulb handles both low and high beam in one globe, giving a dependable spread of light for city streets and country highways alike. Keeping these bulbs fresh isn’t just a box-tick for a WOF/rego — it’s a simple way to protect visibility and reduce driver fatigue.

When it’s time to replace them, go for a quality H4 (12V 60/55W) that’s ADR/NZS compliant. Avoid over-wattage globes as they can overheat the reflectors and wiring. If the Bego has front fog lamps, they’re typically H11 55W, and the park/position lights are usually W5W/T10 — handy to sort while the bonnet’s up.

Replacement is garage-simple on this model: unplug the three-pin connector from the back of the headlamp, peel off the rubber dust cover, release the spring clip, and withdraw the bulb. Seat the new bulb with the locating tab correctly aligned, refit the clip and dust cover, then reconnect the plug. Don’t touch the glass
