2007 Toyota Land Cruiser headlights
Headlights are absolutely fitted to and used on the 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser. Technical sources including the Toyota owner’s and repair manuals, Australian Design Rule ADR 13/00 (Installation of Lighting and Light Signalling Devices), and the New Zealand Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Lighting 2004 require road-going vehicles to have compliant headlamps. So, headlights are not only relevant – they’re a legal must and a key safety system on this model.
On a 2007 Land Cruiser, the headlights do two jobs: help the driver see clearly at night and in poor weather, and make the vehicle conspicuous to others. Depending on market and trim, the 2007 Land Cruiser may use halogen reflector lamps, while higher grades can be factory-equipped with HID (xenon) low beams featuring automatic levelling and headlamp washers. Both systems are designed to meet beam-pattern and glare limits specified in the regulations noted above.
For servicing, keep the lenses clean and clear, replace tired bulbs before they fail, and ensure the aim is correct—especially if the vehicle tows, carries heavy loads, or has a suspension lift. If fitted with HID, be mindful there’s high voltage in the igniter/ballast
