Parts for your 2005 Nissan Serena-Clutch kit
2005 Nissan Serena clutch-kit: is it relevant?
For a 2005 Nissan Serena, a conventional clutch kit generally isn’t relevant. The 2005 model year aligns with the C25 series, which was factory-fitted with Nissan’s Xtronic CVT (often referenced as RE0F10A/Jatco JF011E) or a conventional automatic. These transmissions use a torque converter, not a driver-operated friction clutch, so there’s no clutch kit to replace.
This is backed by technical literature: the Nissan Serena C25 Model Series Service Manual (TM – CVT section) details the Xtronic CVT and its use of Nissan CVT Fluid NS-2, and the 2005 Owner’s Manual shows a PRNDL selector with no mention of a clutch mechanism. By contrast, the earlier C24 Serena (sold up to early 2005 in some markets) was available with a 5-speed manual
