1987 Suzuki Swift MAP sensor – is it even a thing?

Short answer: for most 1987 Suzuki Swift models seen in Australia and New Zealand, a MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor isn’t fitted and isn’t relevant. The carburetted G10 and G13A engines used in these cars don’t have electronic fuel injection, so there’s no ECU needing a manifold pressure signal.
