Castrol Brake Fluid Dot 4 React Performance
Castrol brake fluid DOT 4 React Performance is a performance, high boiling point polyglycol type brake fluid designed to provide superior braking performance in a variety of vehicles, especially those that operate at higher temperatures or under increased loads. Suitable for use in all brake fluid systems in cars, motorcycles and light commercial vehicles (LCV’s) requiring either a DOT 3, DOT 4 or Super DOT 4 product. Do not use: in brake systems where a mineral oil based fluid is specified.
Castrol React Performance DOT 4 is a high boiling point synthetic brake fluid which far exceeds the requirements of the SAE J1704, FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4, ISO 4925 and JIS K2233 specifications. This product has been formulated from mixed polyalkylene glycol ethers and borate ester together with other high performance additives and inhibitors which give ultimate system protection against corrosion and high temperature vapour lock.
Castrol React Performance DOT 4 is designed for use in all brake systems, particularly those which are exposed to extreme conditions such as in high performance vehicles, continuous braking or stop-start driving, in hilly terrain or under racing conditions, where high brake temperatures may be generated.Castrol React Performance DOT 4 may be used with either disc or drum brakes, including in vehicles fitted with anti-lock braking systems (ABS). It is also suitbale for use in hydraulic clutch systems.
It is fully compatible with other fluids meeting FMVSS 116 DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1, however to maintain the superior performance characteristics of Castrol React Performance DOT 4, avoid mixing with other brake fluid products.
