Why Snow Chains Still Matter
Modern vehicles are packed with traction control systems, stability programs, and all-wheel-drive technology that would have sounded like science fiction a few decades ago. For drivers heading to alpine regions, chains are often a legal requirement. Authorities may inspect vehicles at checkpoints, and having the correct snow chains on board is not optional.
