A New Realm Of Performance

Every good Light Bar starts life with CREE LEDs. So, Stedi commissioned CREE’s XPL HI emitter, which represents a +9% increase in lumen output at the same drive current, over the legendary CREE XM-L2 found in previous light bar models. 9% doesn’t sound like much, but the devil is in the details, it means Stedi have been able to decrease the size of the 5 x 5mm LED down to 3.5 x 3.5mm, packing 40 CREE LEDS into a 28.2 Inch LED Light Bar. Simply put, that’s higher lumen density per inch and the result is huge light volume and tremendous beam throw.

Where others stop, Stedi are just getting started. The ST3303 packs a greater punch when it comes to light penetration, offering a light reach of up to 810m at 1 lux and 128m wide at close to 100m distance, with the combination pattern continuing strongly through its entire beam. With this increase of light, Stedi have also managed to maintain a streamlined design, keeping the weight of the 716mm double row bar under 5kg. The 40 LED variant draws 25.3 amp at 13.6v. When installing the 40 LED Light Bar you must use the heavy-duty, dual relay, dual fused wiring harness that comes included. The current is so intense, the 40 LED and 60 LED bars have two separate power cables on either side of the light bar, and two separate breathers to better handle the power demands.
