Projecta Jumper Leads 750A Surge Protected 3.5m
A premium product, these double insulated cables feature an outer insulation manufactured from nitrile which is extremely flexible, durable and has a high resistance to heat. The inner insulation is made of V90HT PVC that can resist temperatures of up to 105 Degrees Celsius. This type of cable is ideal for booster cables due to the high current carrying capacity, extreme heat resistance and flexibility that allows greater ease of use and storage.
Make sure you follow the instructions on the pack before connecting your jumper leads. Make sure the batteries are of the same voltage, make sure the car's don't touch, make sure the engines are off, the car is in neutral or park and the handbrake is on before connecting the battery jumper cables.
Vehicle starting sequence for negatively earthed vehicles:
- Connect the RED lead to the positive + terminal of both vehicles batteries.
- Then connect the BLACK lead to the negative - terminal of the boosting battery and then the engine block of the vehicle with the FLAT battery.
- Start the engine of the BOOSTING vehicle and allow engine to idle normally.
- Start the engine of the vehicle with the FLAT battery and allow engine to idle normally.
- Once the engine of the vehicle with the FLAT battery is idling normally, turn off the BOOSTING vehicle and disconnect the booster cables in the reverse order.
