The DENSITY X2 PowerDrive 1600 Auto/Marine Battery is an advanced dual-voltage power system designed for automotive, recreational and marine applications. Combining powerful 48V and 12V V-Shift* functionality in a single compact unit, PowerDrive delivers exceptional versatility for off-grid touring, camping, marine setups and high-demand auxiliary power systems. Featuring advanced X2 energy density technology, the battery provides outstanding discharge performance, extended cycle life and reliable low-temperature operation. Integrated smart charging capability includes a built-in 500W-60V Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) system, allowing efficient charging from solar panels or DC power. Features 1600Wh / 130Ah (at 12V) capacity, weighting only 12kg. PowerDrive 1600 allows double the energy density of a regular battery for longer run time with less size and weight.

The high-power 48V AS150U interface supports up to 3600W / 60A continuous output and input, making it ideal for powering 48V inverters and high-capacity accessories while also allowing rapid charging with compatible chargers such as the Density 600W AC charger (DBC-14S-600W-AU-60.2, sold seperately). Multiple batteries can also be connected in parallel for expanded energy storage capacity (cable included to parallel 2 batteries - when making a parallel connection all batteries need to be at 100% state of charge). The integrated VSHIFT 12V system delivers up to 1200W / 100A continuous output through a heavy-duty SB120 Anderson connector, providing reliable power for fridges, lighting, pumps, winches and other 12V accessories. The input and output current is user configurable from the onboard touchscreen or bluetooth app, allowing the user to limit input current, for example to reduce the load on the alternator, or decrease the output current for safety. Another innovation possible with V-Shift is to change the voltage from 12V to 24V or even 48V, or anything in between - transforming your Density Battery into a ultra flexible multi-voltage power supply. Batteries should not be connected in parallel using the V-Shift port.

Designed for intelligent energy management, the included Dual Battery Isolator (50A included, but 100A unit could be purchased seperately for larger alternators) protects the vehicle starter battery by isolating it when vehicle voltage is under 12.8V (ie engine is not running) - this ensures connected accessories are powered directly from the Density battery without draining the vehicles starter battery. Additional charging flexibility is provided through the dedicated 500W Max 13-60V charging port - for a compatible power supply, in-vehicle auxilliary power socket or solar panel.

For everyday convenience, the front panel includes integrated USB charging with dual 100W USB-C PD3.0 ports and dual USB-A ports, providing up to 240W of simultaneous charging capacity for laptops, phones, drones and other portable devices. Users can also monitor battery health, charging status and system settings through the bright integrated touchscreen display or the Density Link Bluetooth app, giving complete control and visibility over the battery’s performance and dual battery system functionality.
