K&N Precharger Filter Wrap (Black Mesh)
The K&N Precharger Filter Wrap is a simple upgrade that helps your performance intake do its job longer. It shields your K&N cotton filter from dust, sand, and track grime so your vehicle keeps breathing clean, consistent air—and you keep the power between services.
This custom oval wrap is pre-shaped to slide right over the K&N RD-5000 filter—no clamps or drama—and acts as a first line of defense. The breathable mesh deflects bugs, mud, and rubber while trapping the fine stuff before it reaches the main element, extending filter life and service intervals.
Because the mesh is engineered for maximum airflow, restriction stays under 10%, so throttle response stays sharp. When it’s dirty, just pull it off, rinse, dry, and re-install—no oil required. A simple, reusable way to protect your filter and keep your vehicle performing at its best.
