The TAG standard duty class 2 towbars are made in Australia. Designed for light use and come with a fixed towbar hitch. They're best suited to the light duty type of vehicles wanting to hire a trailer in the weekend to do a run to the tip, carrying the kid's bikes to the local beach town or towing a small boat or jet-skis down to the boat ramp. Class 2 Towbars are rated up to 1600kg depending on the vehicle. They come dipped in gloss enamel for corrosion resistance, complete with installation hardware and most can be fitted in under 1.5 hours. If you're looking at a more heavy duty option then we suggest the TAG+ Class 4 Towbars which are rated up to a 4500kg towing capacity depending on the vehicle are compatible with weight distribution and hitch accessories. The heavy duty towbars are recommended when pulling heavier loads such as boats, caravans, horse floats or heavy load trailers.
